HTC Touch Pro 2 en|nl Folowup

Author: sandshark

I recently was re-assured by someone in the bussiness there is no such phone available unfortunatly, and he also promised me to try and fix something with the importer for HTC in Belgium so perhaps we can switch the ROM’s containing the adjusted windows mobile version (Touch Flow) of HTC.

Still nothing from HTC, but that is hardly surprising.

I think i will try and get in touch with the Belgian reprentesative from HTC, since this is pretty much the only country in the world that doesn’t exclusivly speaks French and uses azerty.

Hopefully one of the 2 routes I am trying to take here will result in something, in any case I’ll keep blogging about it here (whatever the result).

Well, I’ts not really what i wanted for reply, but i guess I’ll have to try it another time.

At least i could be very unsatisfied on the questionaire 😀

Update 19/06/2009

Appearantly HTC would want to release the HTC Tourch Pro 2 with azerty in english or dutch, but the issue lies with microsoft beeing reluctant to offer HTC the chips for a reasonable licencing price.

At least that is what i heard from my back-channels into HTC.

Maybe i should send a mail to the responable person in charge of windows mobile in the benelux.

I’ll keep you updated.

  1. sandshark Says:

    Heh,

    HTC Touch Diamond 2

After alot of research, I decided to take the touch diamond 2 instead. (Even though that also is in qwerty…)
The things that put me off in the end were the size and weight and all tho things that could go wrong with the sliding mechanism or the keyboard itself.
